Skies & Seas The distinctive shapes of RAF Stenigot on the horizon of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The tower remains, used as a practice base for the RAF Aerial Erector School. The four saucers (Tropospheric Scatter Dishes once used for the NATO Ace High communication system) have been pulled down and were rusting in a nearby field. Three are reported to have been broken up for scrap in October 2018.
